She masters the energies…
It was a TV programme in the late 1990 that changed things for Charlotte Jakobsen. For 15 years she had been living abroad - first working as an airhostess and later as a tour guide in 15 different countries. It was here she became fascinated by the different exotic treatments she experienced at the local healers, witch doctors and homeopaths she meet.
- I have seen Chinese doctors using acupuncture on patients and prescribing different herbs. I also experienced a voodoo séance in the Caribbean and tried various types of massage therapy in Mexico. All this inspired me to move back home and started my studies to become a physiotherapist.
It was when she had just returned home that she one day saw the TV-programme about miracle treatments from all over the world. It showed a treatment called Plexus Bio Therapy -(also called Biotherapy). In Ireland this new Bio Energy treatment was widely used. It showed a boy who was paralyzed after an accident and he was able to walk again after a series of treatment.
Charlotte decided there and then that this was the treatment she wanted to learn. She had to move to Ireland but wasn't in a position to do that at the time.
”Some month later I got a job in Ireland and it turned out that it was only 5 minutes away from the Plexus Institute in Ireland", Charlotte says.
A simple technique
In Ireland during the next year Charlotte did her training in Biotherapy.
”Its all about your energy - the invisible current of energy in and outside the body. I learned how to feel the energy with my hands, locate the imbalances and learned techniques to remove the blocked energy. The energy blockages often feels like a tingling in the hands and fingers.
In my experience, the simpler the technique is, the more effective it often is”
Charlotte gave up her physiotherapy studies after 18 month because she found the Biotherapy treatment proved more efficient.
Since 2000 when she finished her training, she has been, as far as she knows, the only therapist in Scandinavia. The treatment is developed by Zdenko Domancic from ex-Yugoslavia, who has a natural talent for healing. Thousands of people have sought his help and later on he developed his own system and started to educate other therapists.
”When I do treatments, the specific illness or symptoms are not the interesting part. I don’t actually have to know anything about the patient. I can immediately feel where the imbalances in the energy field are.”
Charlotte Jakobsen tells how she time and time again is amazed how quickly there is an improvement in the patients who suffers from everything from chronic illnesses to pain and depression.
The most dramatic treatment was a patient with sclerosis who was in a wheel chair in a nursing home. After a series of treatments she was able to walk and felt a lot better. In my experience the method is very good for pain and depression.
So far the treatment is not very well known In Denmark but for Charlotte, Biotherapy has changed her life. I have now returned to Denmark for good. I would rather help people like I have done for the last 4-5 years than travel around the world.¨
Facts about Biotherapy:
Biotherapy is a treatment that works on the energy in and around the body.
The therapist uses a series of hand movements, that read the energy field without even touching the client. Biotherapy claims to be able to remove blockages in the meridians, manipulate the electromagnet field around the body and restore the balance. That will start the healing process in the body.
The last 15 years over 150.000 people have been treated in Ireland and Great Britain and the treatment is approved by the "British Institute of Complementary Medicine" just like acupuncture and reflexology.
